All About Westbrook: "The biggest little school"

School Oval Image

Westbrook is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school which has been in operation since 1953. The school is located in the foothills fifteen minutes north of Cochrane, Alberta on Highway 22 in the heart of an agricultural and acreage area.

Westbrook has a school population of over 167 students. We have 7 classrooms, a technology integrated library , a modern computer lab, two mobile laptop carts with 30 Mac books, an art/drama area and LCD projectors and integrated whiteboards (Smart Boards) in every classroom.

We have a tradition of strong academic programming, dedicated staff, a supportive and involved community and an excellent extra-curricular program. Westbrook School is a child-centered school. It is our belief that every child has a right to the best education we can provide. We believe it is important to help our students maintain a positive self-image.

Staff

The Westbrook experience is a unique opportunity for everyone to experience the benefits of a smaller size school, allowing everyone to know the strengths and needs of all concerned. Parents and staff work closely as a team to ensure students achieve success academically, socially and physically.
