It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Springbank Middle School website.  Springbank Middle School is a centre for academic excellence and home of the Eagles where our mission is to “create a nurturing engaging environment that prepares and inspires learners to be contributing citizens of the 21^st century global community.”   In addition to our primary focus on academics, we have well reputed programs in fine arts, student leadership and athletics at SMS.    With a long history of community involvement, we are committed to providing rich and challenging learning opportunities for our students.  In our endeavour to do this, we enlist parents as partners in our school and we actively cultivate a culture that embraces 21^st century learning.  With our dedicated staff and conscientious students, we look forward to continuing the fine traditions that have evolved at SMS and having a very successful 2009-2010 school year.
