About Us

Springbank Middle School is a dual track, French Immersion, English language school, serving a community that is representative of Southern Alberta: a dynamic society that is growing and changing. The community as a whole places a great deal of value on education and, as a consequence, there is a high level of parental interest in, and involvement with, the school.

Once a rural community, Springbank's proximity to Calgary has led to a mix of acreages, hobby farms and ranching. A desirable foothills' location ensures that the population of the area is stable. As a result, in 2009-2010 we are now in our sixteenth year as a middle school with a population of 495 students in grades five through eight.
