Welcome to our website and welcome to our school! We’re so pleased that you have taken the time to search us out and find out a little bit about us! As you can see, we are an elementary school that has a lot on the go! From our school facilities to our programs, our goal is to provide opportunities for the development of every skill and interest level.

Unique to our school for the 2010-11 school year is our LENS program, which has students in grades two through four placed in classes with classmates who have a similar interest, taught by a teacher with that same passion. Our interest groupings include: Visual and Performing Arts, Humanitarian/Environment, Sports and Athletics, and Scientific Inquiry and Innovation. Our teachers will teach the prescribed Alberta curriculum through the ‘lens’ of that particular interest area, when and where appropriate.

We also provide meaningful opportunities for parental involvement. Our School Council is an active, supportive and well-utilized group of parents who support our school through various initiatives. Whether it is through fund-raising, volunteering, or by attending Council meetings, parents are afforded the opportunity to assist the school in a way that is meaningful to them.
