COUNSELLING NEWS

1. Any students attending Red Deer College next year and wishing to apply for scholarships need to do so by March 31st. See Guidance for details, or Red Deer College website.

2. MLA for a Day program held on April 12 - 13, 2010 - held at AB Legislature. Students must apply. Information in Guidance office or at MLA4aday@assembly.ab.ca This is for high school students only.

3. U of C Update for students who have already applied...... you have a 2nd chance to be considered if you did not get early admission. Changes to self-reported grades and aplications, including program choice, must be made by March 31.

Students WITH early admission: Changes can be made to your program choice by March 31. Remember, IF YOU CHANGE YOUR CHOICE, YOUR PREVIOUS EARLY OFFER IS CANCELLED AND MAY NOT BE RE-AWARDED.

U of C update information is available in Guidance Office. Any students who have received early admission, or have applied to U of C and not had an early offer should check this out.

Congratulations to Melissa, Mitchell, Payton, Jen and Marshall - 3 time Mixed Curling Champions in Rocky View Schools 2010 Curling Bonspiel. Congratulations on winning your Silver Medal at this year's ASAA Zone Competition and Fourth place finish in the Provincial Championship in Okotoks. Thank you for the sportsmanship and great play you have shown in representing our school.
