The Cochrane Christian Program allows parents to partner with the school in providing Christ-centred and God-honouring education for their children. In many respects the Christian Program is an extension of the home. At school, families will encounter a ‘Christ-filled’ environment where children are esteemed and educated in a fashion consistent with the attitudes, beliefs and values of their Christian home. This type of connection between home and school establishes the foundation for a strong school community. Teachers will pray with children and teach from the Bible daily. An opportunity for students to sing and worship together is provided through weekly Chapel meetings. A Christian biblical context and viewpoint will be integrated into each area of the curriculum as outlined by Alberta Education Program of Studies. The staff of the Cochrane Christian Program consider it an honour to partner with parents and trust and pray that the program will be a living example of the truth of Christ before each child.
