August Start Up

Just a reminder, that the first day of school will be Tuesday, August 31, 2010.  The office will be open from 8:00am-3:00pm as of August 23 for any inquiries, purchase of locks, new registrations or tours of the school.

Our office will be open on the following dates and times:

 

Monday, August 23th - 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

 

Tuesday, August 24th - 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

 

Wednesday, August 25th -  8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

 

Thursday, August 26th – 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

 

Friday, August 27th - 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

 

Monday, August 30th - 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

All students in grades one to seven in the Cochrane Christian Program will assemble in the gymnasium for a brief assembly.  Kindergarten children will go straight to the kindergarten room as they will be having staggered entries the first two days of school.  Parents who are bringing their children to school personally are encouraged to accompany their child to the gymnasium to join us for the assembly.  If your child is riding the bus, the bus will be met by a staff member and students will be taken to the gymnasium.  Following the assembly teachers will take their students down to their respective classrooms.

We will follow the same procedure as we did this year for our Middle School students.  Upon arrival at school, students in grade 5 through 8 will find class lists along with a homeroom map posted inside the entrance doors to the school. Students will go directly to their homeroom.  Staff members will be circulating and providing assistance.  Students who are not registered or for some reason are not on a class list should go directly to the school office.
